4Good on the go  Sep 12, 2008
I have several different sackpacks from different companies and this one is probably the best of the lot. It's a little bit bigger than the others and can hold a decent amount of stuff. It has a flap which covers the top. The flap has a velcro strip to hold it in place, but the velcro is pretty flimsy and can easily come off. Still it's better than nothing. The flap also has a zippered pocket built into it. You can toss a cell phone or Ipod into it and not have to worry about digging to the bottom of the bag or opening the bag up to reach it. That's very convenient. It's fairly stylish without being either too plain or too gaudy and comes in several different color combinations to suit different tastes. The overall construction is decent. No better or worse than any of my other sackpacks. I use it primarily when I travel by bike, but it's also convenient when I just need to bring a bag of stuff with me. Open it up, toss everything in, cinch it up and off I go.

Update 11/15/08
After a couple more months of use, I am disappointed to say that the bag is starting to fall apart rather quickly. There are a lot of stray threads starting to appear, and the little black rubber attachment on the flap (above the Adidas logo) has almost completely pulled away. I'm going to have to downgrade the bag to 2-stars for durability issues.

3A Little Bit Disappointed  Aug 09, 2008
When I received the bag three days later, I thought that this bag was made with good material. It is made with good material for the most part but the center flap that covers the opening was made with cheap material. The zipper pulled right off after about a week of normal use. Apparently, it wasn't sewn into the flap but glued instead. I thought it was sewn into the flap so when you unzip it, the sewn part would keep the zipper from being pulled out of the grills. It's a shame because now I can't use the flap to carry small things like my keys or use it to store my MP3 player since the zipper came right off.

I bought this bag because the flap appealed to me. It was an ideal place to put small things in it instead of just putting all my things into the main pocket.

Anyway, the bag and the string is still holding up after six months of normal usage. The bottom feels thick so it'll probably last me a long time before the bottom wears out.

All in all, I like the bag but I wish the flap zipper and grills were sewn into the bag and not just glued.

5Does the job  Jul 29, 2008
I can't fault a sackpack for holding things and being a sack. It is pretty cheaply made, but is also relatively cheap. The small pocket on the flap is invaluable and makes this item much better than many others.

3Good...  May 21, 2008
The bag closes with a drawstring-like mechanism; however, the flap that closes over has a velcro closure. The velcro is quite weak; it would have been better if it was a snap-like closure. The only nuisance is being careful to pull the strings at the same time, or you'll end up with one string that is longer than the other. Other than that, for that price, I wouldn't have expected anything more. It's perfect for taking a towel or something small to the gym.

5great gym bag!  Apr 13, 2008
perfect for storing my 1.5L water bottle, a sweatshirt and a book. the pouch up top is a bit different compared to what i was used to with a zippered pocket actually inside the main compartment, but i'm getting used to it. nice material too. glad to have made the purchase
