I purchased several pair of these some few months ago, all have gone in the trash.Horrid, bagging out, stretched out almost immediately, poor quality, not in any way flattering! I tried several sizes, and kept going down to find some that wouldn't stretch out like cheap panty hose.Found much better jeans at a local dept staqore- for half the price- no not levi's. The idea of adding spandex to levis was simply disasterous. From my experience it seems like the purpose was to make 200lb women think they can still fit into a 12-but the mirror doesn't lie.They felt and looked awful.

These jeans fit really well especially if you have big hips and thighs. I am a pear shape and these jeans have a good amount of stretch so they hug my curves comfortably and the higher waist helps create a nicer silhouette. I have tried many different brands and I have to admit that these are one of the ones that fit best.

Not the right 512? Apr 30, 2010
I have an older pair of 512's and the rise is about 10 inches. The pair I received from Amazon has a 12 inch rise. That is so high!!!! I can find 512's on other websites with the 10 inch rise, so I don't know what the deal is with these. Also the Levi's leather tag is smaller (1.25x2 inches) on this pair andis waaaayyy smaller than the one shown on this webpage. Leg opening is 10 inches. The 2 percent spandex are also very stretchy and I should have gone down a size.

I bought these Levi's 512 Boot Cut Jeans. I love them. I would recommend buying one size smaller because they stretch out a bit after worn. Also, the boot cut is actually bell bottoms. Very flattering and very comfortable!
