5Great Student Computer/Bookbag!!  Feb 08, 2006 By Portland Hermit "Gamer girl"
1. The Airlift system really works like a charm. The weight is distributed equally so that even when you have a full bag you won't feel crushed.
2. The material of the bag and the compartments it have makes the bag quite water proof (tested with the Northwest weather... need I say more?)
3. The compartment for the CD/iPod/Cell phone/Key Holder is perfectly located and easy to reach; there is also a jack for the headphone wire.
4. There is a computer compartment with some moderate amount of soft padding.
5. The capacity this backpack holds is good for school, but not much for traveling.

This backpack is good for students who carry books as well as computers and who might need to walk a lot.

Highly recommended!!!

5Awesome Bag  Jan 31, 2006 By Phil "Phil"
When my bag came in, I wasn't expecting it to be able to fit everything I needed for school. To my surprise, I was able to put in my laptop & accessories, 4 books, 3 binders, water bottle,, lunch, mp3 player and I still had extra room. This bag is very sturdy. I'm really surprised the strap hasn't snapped yet. All around great bag.

5Great Quality and easy to use LIFETIME warranty!!!  Jan 02, 2006 By S. Kochel "Sam K"
Hey,

I decided to review some things I didn't buy off Amazon, but I have owned for sometime that are really great items: the kind I would buy again for sure if they were lost. I would say lost or broken, but Jansport has lifetime warranties! If anything happens to your backpack, all you have to do is mail it to Jansport with a note of the problem, they will fix it for FREE and send it back to you. They will even send you a card while they have it telling you it misses you and will be back soon. Overall, these are such great products, you just have to get a Jansport if you're thinking of a backpack.

Also, I am in a review writing competition with a friend of mine and if this review is helpful, which I hope it really is, I would love to have your yes vote!

With Care,
Sam

5Awesome Nursing School Backpack  Dec 06, 2010 By Dvldlphn32
This thing is huge and has all the compartments I need to stay organized. Perfect for college students, and especially nursing students! I have a smaller Jansport that I have had since 2002 and has deployed all over the world with me in the military. I call it the Sea Warrior Backpack, it has been through hell. Jansports last forever!

5So easy on the shoulders  Sep 29, 2008 By Plum
I love this backpack. I used to have a different Jansport backpack without the airlift straps, but what a difference these straps make. I can carry heavier loads for longer periods of time, and my shoulders don't ache. This backpack is large enough for me to fill with my laptop, some school books, and all the necessities for a weekend away, but it doesn't feel huge and bulky when I'm only carrying a small load. The mp3 pocket is really great for being safe from weather and people grabbing it, but I don't use it because I like to have my player accessible to skip songs. I also like the small organizational pocket to make sure my small items are easy to find. I couldn't ask for anything more (except maybe a bungee cord).
