I have a couple of the genuine military issue versions of this pack, and I assumed it would be similar, but it is a very poor imitation. The canvas is not very thick, the metal gromits were separating and the paint was flaking off of them. The shoulder straps have no padding, and the top lock catch could be easily bent and removed from the gromit that was supposed to keep it secure. If you intend to use this bag for laundry, then it'll work fine. But this is not the bag to use for travel. Spend another $10.00 or $15.00 and get the genuine military issue duffel. I returned this bag the same day I got it.

Im a Merchant Marine, so I love duffel bags and seabags. This has worked out great so far, it holds everything I need and seems quite durable.

Very roomy and made of durable material. I went camping for 5 days and had no problem fitting everything in it (including my sleeping bag). Only four stars since the straps do not have much padding.
