Not your Daughters (or your Mothers) Pair of Jeans Mar 22, 2010
I was skeptical when I first bought these jeans. Having worn Levi's for years and knowing how my butt looked in the right pair - I was worried at first when I pulled these on. Never judge a pair of jeans until you've washed them. Once I washed them, I knew I bought the right jeans. These are jeans that I don't want to take off the minute I get home. They fit beautifully. The length is great - not too long! I'm 5'3" and am always challenged by the petite/ not petite sizing. These come on the foot a bit, but not enough were I have to mend them. The slightly higher waist (not 1988 high, just to the bottom of the belly button high), is perfect for hiding the fact that I don't have a pre-baby waist-line anymore. Goodbye mushroom cap, hello sexy smooth lines. These jeans curve where they should and I feel skinny in them - which, as we all know, is half the battle. I even got a, "You're looking good, have you lost weight?" wearing these jeans!! Now that's a good pair of jeans.

This is the first time I bought jeans online. Fortunately this pair fit well and looks good. If you're wondering about whether they're true to size, I'd say they probably are about right on or slightly larger. Nice style. This particular pair is a fairly light blue.

Thses jeans are very comfortable due to the stretchy material. My only negative is the pockets. The large pockets in only a few inches deep. I'm always afraid things will fall out.

not quite true to size Dec 24, 2009
I like the jeans, but they were too big. After reading one of the reviews that said that these were very true to size, I decided to order one size smaller, just in case. I normally wear a 12, but ordered a 10. It was still too big. Should have ordered an 8. Would have rated this a 5-star if the size was right. I decided to keep the jeans, even though they are a little big because I didn't want to go thru the bother to return them. I also was hoping that they might shrink a little after washing them, but they didn't.
